Project Milkē - Clean Minimalist Primary Ensuite Transformation

We recently had the pleasure of completing a primary ensuite renovation for one of our clients located in Etobicoke, Toronto. The project was an exciting opportunity for us to create a clean and modern minimalist space that would meet our client’s needs while also reflecting their personal style. The existing bathroom was completely gutted, and new plumbing and electrical were installed.

Seamless and Spacious Layout:

The layout was completely changed to allow for a new custom double sink vanity that extends the entire length of a wall. The vanity was designed to be both beautiful and practical, with ample storage and counter space. The countertop is made from a beautiful quartz slab that complements the wood tones of the vanity.

In the shower, we used large format tiles in a soothing neutral color to create a spacious and calming atmosphere. The curbless shower also features a rain shower head and a tiled ledge to store toiletries.  A frameless glass shower enclosure was installed to create a seamless and elegant look.

Lighting to Accentuate the Space:

One of the key design elements is the use of LED and wall sconces for accent lighting. The mirrors provide ample illumination for getting ready in the morning, while the LED lighting can be adjusted to create a softer or brighter light as needed. The wall sconces, which were carefully placed to provide accent lighting, are a great addition to set the mood in the space. They create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the bathroom feel more relaxing and spa-like. Together, the mirrors and sconces provide a perfect balance of task and ambient lighting that elevates the overall design of the bathroom.

Primary Bedroom Refresh:

In addition to the ensuite renovation, we also completed a primary bedroom refresh for our client. Our client wished to keep the existing bed frame and nightstands, so we focused on incorporating the space with new furniture pieces and decor to create a cohesive and stylish design. To start, we updated the wall color with a fresh coat of paint (Benjamin Moore – Chantilly Lace). We chose a neutral and soothing color that complements the existing furniture and provides a calming atmosphere.

To add a touch of elegance, we introduced a new dresser in the room. The dresser is positioned against the wall and is furnished with decorative items that reflect our client’s personal style. We also added an accent chair, which creates a cozy reading nook and adds another element to the room. We also installed pendant lighting above the nightstands to ensure a cohesive look with the ensuite sconces.

Final Thoughts

The final result is a stunning and functional primary ensuite that perfectly reflects our clients’ style and needs. The space is warm and inviting, with a spa-like atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We are proud to have been a part of this project and to have created a space that our clients will enjoy for years to come.
